Craggs 101 Posted December 9, 2023 Share #1  Posted December 9, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently bought an SL2 after years of happy times with an SL. Loving many things about the camera but I have one irritation. If the camera powers down or if I switch it off, when I switch back on all my settings are preserved except focus peaking and aperture. I have to change the aperture back from its widest (f2 primes) and have to use the programmed function button to turn focus peaking back on. I don’t have this issue with my SL. I have scoured the menus and instructions but cannot find a solution. Any ideas?

Turns out I needed to have focus peaking toggled on in the user profiles. It can still be used as a function on/off but now it returns enabled after a power cycle.
