But i forgot all about that and now i am very happy, it is very well done, i think. Advertisement Posted December 20, 2023 Posted December 20, 2023 Hi Smudgerer, Take a look here Elmarit M ASPH 24mm f2.8, any user comments?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Becf Posted February 3, 2024 Share #22 Posted February 3, 2024 I'm not sure which thread to put this into, but hopefully someone here can answer - this page implies that the 24mm elmarit can use both the supplied hood, but also the 12464 hood that appears to be intended for the Elmar. My initial assumption is the page is wrong given the difference in how to mount the two hoods - but can anyone confirm? I'm also curious if someone can share the leather case dimensions. I just purchased a 24mm that has everything but the leather case and would love to track one down. Thank you
brooksveriwide Posted September 19, 2024 Share #23 Posted September 19, 2024 I have very recently acquired this lens for use on my M2. I have shot about 5 rolls so far with somewhat mixed results. Some pictures have been very good and I am happy with them. Some others not so much. I will not know my ultimate thoughts until have used it quite a bit more. I like the handling and construction. I just developed my first photos shot wide open at f2.8 and was very surprised to see this flare: I don't hate it but it sure is unusual! Welcome, dear visitor!
