Battery issue since installing the Leica grip on the Q3

Have you ever looked at the settings in “Leica Photos”? Is it set to “Off” or “Eco”? If it's set to “Performance mode”, that could be the reason why the battery on your Q3 43 is draining so quickly.

Also, my grip for the Q3 43 from JJC arrived today. The battery and SD card are easily accessible. 1/4 of the price of the Leica Q3 and 1/3 of the price of the Q2 grip. But unfortunately you can't attach the finger loop.

And the camera is hard off on the switch. 
 

Pretty much always flat as a pancake if it sits for a week or two. So disappointing for a camera at this level which is used for travel. 
 

Will just clock it up to another Leica quirk, and another reason to never buy a Leica again. Never had so many problems with any camera as my leicas. So glad I sold the M11, that’s one less set of issues and plenty of budget towards a ‘real’ camera. 😆
