This is a good place to start - Many of us have Leica binos.  We have the 10x25 Trinovids and love them.  Small, light, bright, and much better than the compact Nikons we used to travel with, as well as better than the Zeiss we directly compared them to.  We've had them for at least 15 years.

I had a pair of very small Trinovids. I forget the exact size, something like 7x20. I used them to watch sport hence the need for light-weight. At first they were very good, but they turned out to be not very robust.  One of the plastic "lens hoods" cracked, then they got out of alignment. "One eye up the chimney, the other on the floor" so to say. So either tube was use-able as a monocular, but I never tried to separate them. I've replaced them with 8x32 Celestron Trailseekers and am quite happy with them.

OTHD I bought 12x50 Ultravids for stargazing and am very happy with them. So far.
