rick_dykstra Posted November 20, 2007 Share #1 Posted November 20, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm looking for a few words to write under framed prints of this image. These White Naped Honeyeaters look like a pair of burglars, or kids caught in the wrong place. Thoughts? http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/rickdykstra/Nature/white_naped_2.jpg.html

biglouis Posted November 23, 2007 Share #10 Posted November 23, 2007 Nothing comes to mind but that is a great shot - crisp, clear, lovely colours and great background. LouisB
rick_dykstra Posted November 23, 2007 Author Share #11 Posted November 23, 2007 Thanks Louis, Ivan. Sometimes the background or foreground elements can make such a difference. Wet leaves or water droplets picking up the light can work well. This was Velvia and the colours are supercharged. These honeyeaters must be tasty as they were as nervous as all heck and flocked together for safety. In this shot I managed to get only two - many of the others have bits and pieces of birds sticking into the shot. So much fun to watch through the viewfinder, but also mental overload trying to place the focal plane where it needs to be. Regards, Rick.
