Spike415 Posted November 20, 2023 Share #1 Posted November 20, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) When turning off the LCD screen on the back of my Q2, to save energy or because it is a distraction, how do you reverse this decision? I had to use the eye piece to view the setting to return to normal "on" status. Is there an easier way to turn the screen back on?

Knorp Posted November 20, 2023 Share #2 Posted November 20, 2023 From the Q2 instructions manual on page 62: LCD PANEL/EVF USE -> try this option EVF-extended It will activate the LCD screen when selecting Play (review) and Menu (menu control) buttons. I think EVF-Extended will not help much for saving battery. The LCD will be ON as long as you carry the camera and only when you lift it to the eye, the LCD is off. dpitt Posted November 20, 2023 Share #4 Posted November 20, 2023 I am not sure about the Q2. On the TL2 there is a way to program the FN button on the top to bring up the Menu. This will activate the LCD, even when it is set to EVF only.
Knorp Posted November 20, 2023 Share #5 Posted November 20, 2023 Well, I do own a Q (a Q3 for that matter) and I can tell you this EVF-extended option works like a charm.
