Leica Q2 Firmware Upgrade Problems

After upgrading, I get a black screen and no image. I have downloaded the Q2___500.Ifu files off the Leica site to my Root Directory (i.e. not in a separate folder). I have also tried the 2 other folders hoping that might work, I have tried and re-formatted the card, reset the camera, and installed a new version of the same file (I have downloaded several from the Leica site - not the Monochrome version) and just get a black screen. The camera just doesn't show the live screen/image in EVF. When I go to Upgrade Firmware it says "Version 5.0 already on your camera. Is my camera just broken or what am I doing wrong. 

I have read these threads and saw from a while ago someone had a similar problem with Firmware 2.0 and they had simply put the file in the wrong directory. I watched a firmware upgrade video about the Q version on a YouTube video and he said to hold the Red Record button when you first turn it on but there is none on the Q2. This is driving me crazy. It is a new (used) camera.

If you can still access the menu leave the battery out for 24 hours and try resetting the camera. Otherwise you will have to consult your dealer, who will probably have to send it in. If the camera thinks it has the firmware there is no way you can load it again or revert to the previous version.
