If you could only keep 3 S lens with you to use with the upcoming S4, what are your 3 lens ?

I do not have S lenses anymore, just an S2 and some Contax lenses. If I would still happen to have my S lenses, I would certainly out of my 24/70/120 setup keep the S120. My expectation is that a mirrorless S will have most benefits with wide angle lenses. Also, any adapters adding weight and length are less of a concern with longer lenses, proportionally.

That all said with unlimited budget. Else, I would certainly also keep the 24, as I expect any comparable product to be practically unavailable for some time and prohibitively expensive.

Curious as to why you got rid of your Leica lenses and kept the Contax ones.

Well - I decided to move away from Leica S, mostly for weight considerations. No plan to sell the Q or the M. I do have a Contax 645 camera I use occasionally with film, so these Contax lenses serve dual purpose. The S2 I kept for nostalgica. It was not a large financial investment and I can still do the odd photograph with it and one of my Contax lenses.

I enjoy using a Hasselblad some with film and it is an interesting look with the CF lenses on the S system, so I agree, it’s fun to shoot even though the native S lenses are incredible.
