RussinCA Posted November 15, 2023 Share #1 Posted November 15, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently purchased a new Q2, but noticed the imaging numbering started listed as L1000206 as I exported to Lightroom. Is there any relationship between imaging number count and age/use of the camera? Almost all my other non Leica cameras started near Zero. Is this any concern? Has this been a previously used camera sold as new? Note the number 206 would be the approximate frames I shot. Thanks.
Advertisement Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 Hi RussinCA, Take a look here New Q2 Frame count based on imaging numbering. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted November 16, 2023 Share #2 Posted November 16, 2023 This reflects the number of test shots on the SD card that Leica QC used. It tells you nothing about the number of shots of the camera.

Carrot Posted November 16, 2023 Share #4 Posted November 16, 2023 This worked when I had Fujifilm cameras, haven’t tried it with Leica though … https://www.apotelyt.com/camera-exif/shutter-count-finder
WeiterWinkel Posted November 16, 2023 Share #5 Posted November 16, 2023 Keep in mind, that after any software update the number count is reset to L1000001.
