Had a chance to board a Port of Melbourne boat tour today. CL @ ISO 800 with Elmarit-M 24mm ASPH. Cropped to 1:3 panorama format. Happy to live in this great city!

Wow. If they are low res….i’d like to see the best! 😀  1:1 crop details..???   Judging by those, I had better try to see what I can find out there.

Would that be the f3.5? Correction, f3.8?

These were shot from a moving boat, probably not the best reference for inspecting 1:1 crops. It's a f2.8 lens. I forgot the aperture I was using for these photos. I am very happy with this lens, but I prefer to use it (and any other manual lens) with a rangefinder. I am less and less convinced that the combination of manual focus and EVF is a good idea, but many other users will disagree. If the CL were my main camera, I probably would look for autofocus lenses.

In my experience (albeit limited so far) whilst auto focus is convenient, manual is more accurate more often.

it often isn’t easy. But for slow work, gives comfidence.
