Hello,

since a few days, maybe after an update, my Leica photo app and lightroom crash when I try to use the LR tab in the Leica photos app…. Not shure it worked before, I’m new on Leica since couple of months.

Hello Willem,

I’ve not experienced this problem using the Lightroom tab in the Leica Fotos app on both my iPhone and iPad. There have been several updates to the Fotos app over the past few months, and updates to Lightroom and Lightroom Classic as well. Ensure you have the latest updates. Sometimes, I’ve deleted the Fotos app and reinstalled it and it seemed to work better. Hope this helps.

Same for me.

i reinstalled both apps. iPhone 14pro. 
when i try to open an photo in Lightroom via the Leica Foto app button then Lightroom opens but crashes.

 

seems to be a LR problem.

But you can save the image to your library and open it from Lightroom or Photoshop Express as a workaround.

I'm having same issue.  When I try to launch LR app by selecting LR icon in Fotos Leica Gallery on my iPhone 12 Pro, it crashes.  It never did this before I upgraded to firmware 5.1.0.  I did, however, find a workaround.  If you try to foward an image or group of images in Fotos Leica Gallery by selecting forward icon, you can send to LR app, select the "Launch Lightroom Now" option and it opens right up for editing.  Hoping they will fix this soon.
