chris_livsey Posted November 22, 2023 Share #5 Posted November 22, 2023 The M8 is so old you almost expect to see valves in it 😁 When the USA got their hands on the MIG-25 (1976) from a Soviet defector they laughed their socks off at the valve technology in the radar and avionics, this then was noted to give the radar very high power and was unjammable at that time, the avionics were resistant to an electromagnetic pulse (EMP, about which the Russians understood long before the West did), meaning that in the event of a nuclear war the Foxbat would still be flying.
