photos captured with m10. 50mm Summicron.

First time trying to use zone focus.  Overcast day so had to shoot at ~5.6 and ~125.  Was really difficult with a 50mm lens.  90% of images were blurry and not usable

practice makes perfect(or at least better).

Thanks for all the likes

its appreciated.

anyone have tips on getting sharper images with zone focusing

28mm or wider, f5.6 or smaller, 1/250th sec or faster. Your M10 can easily handle higher ISO to accommodate the faster shutter speeds and smaller apertures. Experiment a bit.

It's definitely worth perfecting your technique with the M10. A really great street lens for hip shooting is the 28/f5.6 Summaron. It's perfect for zone focusing and is very discreet. If money is an issue, you might check out the TT Artisan version of that lens.

Even if you don't exactly nail the focus, sharpness isn't the end all be all. There are a lot of great photos by great photographers that are not perfectly in focus.
