chris_tribble Posted October 25, 2023 Share #1 Posted October 25, 2023 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Well, I’ve more or less set up my shiny new (used S1r), but I’m not able to see if there’s a way of limiting the rear screen to menu / review only (i.e. no live view) as you can very easily on the SL2. I’ve assigned the “video” button to “LV off”, which works. But I have to actively turn it back on to view menus or images. It’s not a problem, but not elegant. Otherwise the S1r is rather nice - not dramatically heavier than the SL2, and I appreciate the shutter mode switch and battery of programmable buttons - and RAW images are fine! It’ll be a useable backup until my other SL2 comes back from Solms… Edited October 25, 2023 by chris_tribble

chris_tribble Posted October 25, 2023 Author Share #2 Posted October 25, 2023 Duh. The DISP button let’s you toggle through display options - including “off” in capture mode. Simple!

Simple! The longer you use it the more features you’ll discover. That can be a good or bad thing.😃 1
