Maybe I'll be back in the Leica fold one day again in the future who knows. Welcome, dear visitor! I tried one out a bit at Leica Mayfair and have to say I didn't think it really worth the upgrade at £5300. The other day I got a good deal on a Zeiss Batis 25mm (hardly wider than the 28mm Q lens) and on my Sony A1 it's not that much bigger or heavier than the Q and knocks it out of the park performance wise. Consequently the Q2 and my ageing Sony A7r3 are going to be traded in for a Sony A7r5

Most of the pros I know who are still working have switched to Sony. The Zeiss Batis 25mm gets very good reviews, but it's a bit fat for my comfort level. I'm sure you'll do great work with it on the A1.

For work I started switching to the Sony system with the release of the A7 and with the release of the A7r3 completed the change only keeping a Q and then a Q2
