Stolen MP R8 Lenses

Has anyone thought to contact Classic Collection LLC to let them know that they're offering stolen goods for sale? It might at least get the MP withdrawn from sale pending further action to recover the camera etc.

I have just received this morning a message in my email from the moderator of the Leica User Forum to the effect that my stolen Leicas and lenses had been found: indeed, were for sale at your store.

 

I don't know if you recall the situation, but about 6 years ago I went on a week's trip to Nepal with a friend. When I returned my house in Chiang Mai had been broken into and my MP, R8 and several lenses were stolen.

 

I immediately informed the Leica User Forum, and several months later I received some tips about the equipment. I made inquiries and found that after a year they had never left Chiang Mai. I made arrangements with some people there who had acquired the equipment and all of it was returned to me unharmed.

 

I believe that I informed the User Forum that I had the equipment back.

 

Anyway, the result is that the equipment you have there from me to sell is there to sell legitimately from its rightful owner. Indeed, some of those items, the MP and the 50mm, for example, and perhaps others I bought from you in the first place.

 

I have written the moderator of the Leica User Forum just now to inform him of all this. I hope that none of this results in problems in selling the items for me.
