Chris A Posted October 6, 2023 Share #1 Posted October 6, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently purchased a used Leica Q 116. I’ve noticed that when I change some settings in the menu they don’t save I.e. I turn off shutter sound, histogram and clipping but the shutter still clicks and the histogram and clipping shows up as soon as I snap a photo. Am I doing something wrong or is it a camera issue? Advertisement Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Hi Chris A, Take a look here Leica Q 116. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted October 6, 2023 Share #2 Posted October 6, 2023 The mechanical shutter will always click when you use it. Obviously you cannot turn the sound off. When you turn off the viewfinder information it will do so for taking the images. Reviewing the image is a different matter. I would recommend reading the user manual.
Le Chef Posted October 6, 2023 Share #3 Posted October 6, 2023 The manual explains how best to save settings, by creating profiles.
