WeiterWinkel Posted October 6, 2023 Share #6 Posted October 6, 2023 My Oberwerth half case just arrived and it fits my Q3 very well. I took a few quick shots to give you an impression. The case comes in a very luxurious package, together with a small screw and a sort of screwdriver to screw the whole thing to the bottom of the camera. And there is a second screw to install on top of the small to give you a tripod mount. But with that installed, the hatch leading to the sd-card is blocked. The Apple AirTag fits perfectly into an elastic pouch. The last picture shows you how it works, for demo purposes I just pushed it halfway into the pouch. The leather feels (and smells) nicely, the grip is good for my large hands. Welcome, dear visitor! The fit of the Leica case is very good and the leather excellent quality. However, it would be a very boring world if everyone liked the same thing! Steve8405 Posted October 25, 2023 Share #14 Posted October 25, 2023 Just put the Oberworth half case on my Q3 (the previous case I had required me to unscrew it in order to get access to the SD card, gnnrrrr) and I have to say I'm really impressed. Quality wise it feels a step up from the Oberwerth I have on my M11, the fit was easily adjustable and (miraculously) I have access to everything I want access to. What I realized is that the tripod screw doesn't have threads to screw into arc Swiss. The barrel of the tripod screw is smooth. Can you check your tripod screw? Is it smooth like this or threaded.
