Paris and museums ---- equipment/bag question?

I'll be traveling to Paris soon and trying to figure out what to carry. Most concerned about taking very small shoulder bag into museums. I'm not willing to check thousand dollar lenses. Does anyone know if they allow a small camera bag with several lenses into Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, Fondation Louis Vuitton and other notable spots. This will be my third trip there but it's been quite a few years. These days not working so I normally carry one camera and one lens. I'm thinking about taking two more lenses for this trip.  Museum websites not that helpful/specific.  Any advice is most welcome.

We've been to Paris so often that we only visited one museum this time, and it had no restrictions.  But I would assume that some will be restricted, so a small bag is pretty safe bet.  BTW:  Go The Louvre just before it opens for the day, but do not go in via Pei's Pyramid, where far more people will be lined up.  Check a map of the museum before hand, and when they open, go directly to what you mist want to see.  You can actually get near La Giocanda (Mona Lisa) that way.  For the Musée d'Orsay go just before it opens on another day, and go directly to the impressionists floor upstairs, though I forget which floor that is.

If you carry only a shoulder bag you won't use the Louvre and Orsay's cloakrooms .

I don't remember  if  Louis Vuitton fondation has a cloakroom too, but a large bag as mine (30X25X14 cm) was fully accepted.

As stuny advised it, except if you do want to enter there, avoid the pyramid entrance if crowded and prefer the Lions entrance which is between the river and the park, on the right side when facing the pyramid.

Check the underground entrance through the "Carrousel du Louvre" as it goes by the inversed pyramid, but there you must have the ticket entrance to enter the museum.
