Appleinsider indicates the following re TM:

addresses formatting issues with certain drives used with Time Machine (specifically, single-partition MBR drives greater than 512 GB in size as well as NTFS drives of any size and partition scheme).

Resolves an issue in which files restored in Time Machine may be restored to the backup hierarchy rather than the folders to which they belong.

Is this enough - or is there another bug?

I've been avoiding Time Machine because I think it is a bit too new and untested to trust with one's files just yet. I'm keeping a close eye on Apple - Support - Discussions - Time Machine and there doesn't seem to be much love for it. Maybe Apple will have the wrinkles ironed out in 10.5.2?

Having said that, Shirtpocket.com are dragging their heels terribly with their Superduper.app which still isn't Leopard compliant. So I've been forced to switch to Carbon Copy Cloner (which is busily whirring away as I type).
