Hmm.  I thought it was just me.  Twice now I set the clock only to have it an hour off.  I thought I was just making a mistake in setting the time......  twice.  Odd.  I wonder if anyone else is having this same issue.  I only noticed it because I also use my Nikon Z7ii and in Lightroom I saw the Q3 photos being in the wrong spot on the gallery, so set the clock again....   And then again......

And I do not use a cell phone so no syncing going on with me.

Do you take out the battery when you’re not using the camera? Unless the internal battery remains fully charged the camera will lose memory, like date, time, and other settings like profiles.

It’s better to keep the main battery in the camera and charge that up after use rather than taking out and leaving it out for a while.

I leave my battery in and only charge via USB-C. The camera has had a full charge since I’ve had it so the internal battery must be full.

It isn’t forgetting the time, it’s just shifting one hour for a few photos and then shifting back to the correct time for the rest. The EXIF data does not show a time zone change (all are GMT -5) but rather a change in the hour. I use the app for GPS but GPS shows the same location for the set of photos, so no time zone change.

Looking back a bit, I noticed this issue came up part way through a trip 2 weeks ago where things were fine and then they weren’t and I didn’t update FW on the Q3. The only thing that change was that FOTOs app was updated to v4.0.4 on iOS. I think this is likely the problem so hopefully Leica can fix this in an FOTOs app update. The problem seems specific to Q3 and doesn’t seem to be a problem on the SL2-S since I was using both cameras together and only saw the problem on the the Q3 images.
