Upgraded to firmware 4.0.

No change for the Sigma mc-21 adapter support. i.e. no support.

I tried both mc-21 EF-L and mc-21 SA-L adapters.

The release note just mentions the following:

NEW: Profoto remote flash control (Profoto Remote) is supported

EXTENDED: The list of automatically detectable Leica-M lenses was extended.

Did the SL-601 FW 4.0 update yesterday and went out to do a few shots (Summicron-M 35mm ASPH, L→M adapter)

Didn't notice any difference TBH 😕

Do not need updaye firmware to use new battery.

SCL6 works on SL601 well. (Firmware 3.8).

Besides, new firmware works with LeicaFOTOS 4 better.

After connecting, LeicaFOTOS shows "REMOTE" button without preparing gallery first.
