w44neg Posted August 31, 2023 Share #1 Posted August 31, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) I picked up a pre-owned SL2-S yesterday and started setting it up by resetting any previous settings, and reverting it back to the factory state. It’s running Firmware v5.1 and I noticed during the reset, it asked if I wanted to “keep the saved LUTs”. I know this is an option of the S5ii/x Panasonic bodies, so I wondered if adding LUTs is possible in the SL2-S for photography? The Panasonic bodies allow LUTs to be added which can be used for video or stills, with the idea being your JPEG will have your “style” applied out of camera, with no editing (hypothetically). Basically like Fuji and Ricoh’s standard “looks” but your own version. Has anyone given this a go?

frame-it Posted August 31, 2023 Share #2 Posted August 31, 2023 The File name should not be longer than 8 characters and with extension .cub & should be copied in the root directory on the sd card (similar to FW Update files)

Does this also apply to JPEGs for stills?
Photoworks Posted August 31, 2023 Share #4 Posted August 31, 2023 No LUT option are avalable for Images in the SL2. at this point only Q3. It is very much possible that I will come to the other cameras in future FW updates
