I’m not one for long hello’s, nor goodbyes.

I first picked up a camera around 1988, and I’ve photographed off and on ever since. Even when I’ve shot mostly digital, I never quite gave up film. I got a bunch of the classic film cameras with some good lenses a couple of years ago, when they were still cheap. Sadly, a Leica wasn’t one if them.

I’ve been wanting a good rangefinder for a while now, but while researching cheaper options people kept telling me to spend more to get the “real” thing. I eventually freed up some cash (it cost me a really good guitar and two other cameras), and got a 1962 Leica M3 with a 1958 Elmar 50mm f2.8. I’m glad I did, I’ve really enjoyed using it this far, and I’m taking more photos than ever.
