Sure, but then the tightening screw on the hood would be on the opposite side. It wouldn't bother me, but it might be an annoyance depending on how you place you focusing finger. Just out of curiosity I've been experimenting with a couple of the Canon cinch-clip hoods which I have. One of them works. I've added some pics and some info in a couple of posts in the other thread but I may as well post the 'general' pic here as well. This hood was originally intended to be used with the Canon Serenar-style 35mm f2.8 and 50mm f1.8 lenses. When clipped onto the front of the Rollei there is no vignetting / cut-off whatsoever. Pic; Nowhere near as pretty as the 'ROLLUX', of course, but a darned sight more effective that the original 'Wedding Band' as supplied by Rollei! It is shown here 'Filterless' but, having checked, it can be used with them. The rearmost part of the filter chamber is in front of the cinch-clip mechanism. Philip.
