Summicron-C 1:2/40 lens filter size

Hello everyone,

I was lucky to purchase Leica CL Jahre 50 film camera, complete set with two lenses. Came from original owner who took very good care of it. Everything is in amazing condition, and I couldn't wait to put in the film and test it. But before to do so, I'd like to replace the filter system attached to Summicron-C 1:2/40 lens. For now, there is screw-in blend with foldable rubber part, plastic cap, and "flat" lens filter sitting on top of the lens. I am looking to keep the bland and cap on a side, and replace filter with some good quality screw-in one.

My question would you please help me with correct filter size? Is it 40.5mm?

Filter size is rare Series 5.5, not E40.5 on M-Rokkor 2/40mm.

Actually the filter size is ES39 (as opposed to E39, same diameter different pitch, 39mm x 0.75 not 39mm x 0,5 ). Heliopan produce them (or did).
