Dr. G Posted August 11, 2023 Share #1  Posted August 11, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm thinking about a 9-10mm lens for my SL2-S. Voigtlander has the 10mm 5.6 in M Mount, Laowa has the 9mm 5.6 in M Mount and the 9mm 2.8 in L mount. Has anyone used these lenses and which would you recommend?
Advertisement Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 Hi Dr. G, Take a look here Ultrawide for SL2-S - Voigtlander or Laowa?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
goodbokeh Posted August 11, 2023 Share #2 Â Posted August 11, 2023 UWA M mount lenses on SL bodies generally don't do well outside the central area. The 9mm Laowa is I believe an APS-C lens, not full frame. Maybe think about these two options: - Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D:Â https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1672893-REG/venus_optics_ve1228l_laowa_12mm_f_2_8_zero_d.html/specs -Â Laowa 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 Zoom:Â https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1664756-REG/venus_optics_ve1018l_laowa_10_18mm_f_4_5_5_6_fe.html/specs Good luck.
