Advertisement (gone after registration)

A common green housefly had the misfortune of running into my fly swatter without too much damage being done, so I pinned it up and stuck it under my Leica Wild M3C scope to  have a look.  Here is the setup.  You can see the fly on the pin as a green dot.

Excellent!  Thanks for posting it.  While in the US Air Force we used Wild T2 AM theodolites.  You'll see Leica branding on Wild theodolites and surveyor's transits, too, these days.

Are you working in Area 51?  Can we have some more detail next time....I cannot tell if it has a cataract!
