0ursisthefury Posted July 16, 2023 Share #1 Posted July 16, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Looking at getting one of their leathers cases and asking for people with first hand knowledge, are they really that different from etsy? Also what do you think about the aventino grips? Worth the upgrade?
Advertisement Posted July 16, 2023 Posted July 16, 2023 Hi 0ursisthefury, Take a look here Are arte di mano cases worth it?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Cmurman Posted July 16, 2023 Share #2 Posted July 16, 2023 I have Arte di Mano 1/2 cases on my M11 and Fuji X100V. I Never take them off. Not sure how to compare it to some of less expensive options, but I enjoy the leather feel and protection. Obviously- the look is awesome. I have Rally Volpe on both. Assuming you are going to keep and enjoy the camera for years....it's worth it! CM Welcome, dear visitor! Simone_DF Posted July 17, 2023 Share #3 Posted July 17, 2023 I had a Arte di Mano for my M7, it was really well made. For my M10, I did buy another brand (can't remember which), it was not as good as the AdM but quite good anyway, and much less expensive. To my eyes the AdM was not worth the extra price, but to each their own. Just buy the case you like the most.
Phil75 Posted July 17, 2023 Share #4 Posted July 17, 2023 I got the original Leica half case with 50% discount with a Q2, at that price point there was no need to think about a 3rd party accessory. Made good experience with other original half cases for different Leica models before. Regarding the original Q3 half case, I'd consider that it doesn't dispose of a corrected grain and therefore might be more slippery. Maybe a point in favour of some Arte di Mano models?

jdlaing Posted July 17, 2023 Share #6 Posted July 17, 2023 I had one a while back and it’s my opinion it’s overpriced for what it is compared to others. Some of the off brand cases are very good and far less expensive.

1945 Mouton Posted July 17, 2023 Share #8 Posted July 17, 2023 I had a couple of their products and I think they are over-priced. For half-cases, my favorite one is Lim's. Top notch quality with very tight tolerances. And a bonus - the metal bottom plate is also Arca-Swiss compatible. I had one for my Q2 (as well as three other previous cameras) and loved it. You can replace the battery and SD card through doors on the bottom plate. The Q3 version is scheduled to be available in early August.
ianforber Posted July 19, 2023 Share #9 Posted July 19, 2023 I have a Lim’s case on my Q2 and an arte di mano on my M11. Both are great although the Lim case adds bulk to the Q2 and I sometimes take it off when I know I won’t be using a tripod. The arte di mano is beautiful and never comes off. I decided against the aventino grip because I wanted to retain a low profile look. The small bump is in any case quite enough to give a secure grip for me. Is it worth it though? No.
