Yes, I was on the train, the Eurostar between Lille and Brussels.

What I like about shots from a moving train is that objects close get very blurred, while stuff far away is still reasonably defined (like in this case the clouds). Can we call that "movement contrast"? ;)

Yes it must be a quantum physics phenomena - The closer I get to a moving subject the more it blurs however from a distance the same moving train appears sharp and requires less shutter speed compared to being closer.

Light Bendings - One of two frames I shot of a police van going around the corner last week. There is no way to predict how the exposures will go but in the ball park is good enough. I really like the creative work done in photoshop for these images such as high lighting the subject with contrast and colour, using "blend if" and layer styles to attain separation from backgrounds etc. The images can be more abstract or have more structure (detail) depending on  what you want. The SL2/s cameras with image stabilisation make life so much easier to maintain background details while the moving subject blurs. And then there are the voluntary camera movements adding to the abstraction.

Another quantum physics phenomena. Extremely blurred bushes close to the track. Somewhat blurred building a bit further and "sharp" clouds in the sky far away (same train ride).

Make more errors...

A compound error, actually.  First, shooting in such low light I had to ensure I handheld steadily.  Second, I should have seen the workman spraying plans with water near me.  I clicked the shutter but moved too soon with the surprise of being sprayed with water.
