50mm APO Summicron-SL vs 50mm APO Summicron M on the SL2/SL2-S - anyone compare?

I’ve always wondered how the images using the 50mm APO Summicron-SL compare to those from the 50mm APO Summicron M when used with the SL2/SL2-S.  Has anyone compared them and what were your impressions?

Each on their native mount. The SL lens pictures convey more of a sense that one can reach in and grab the object because, as Peter Karbe said, they’ve tightened and raised the curve with the SL lenses. https://www.reddotforum.com/content/2016/09/setting-a-new-standard-with-leica-sl-lenses-a-discussion-with-peter-karbe-at-photokina-2016/

50mm is my favourite focal length and I found the 50 APO summicron SL to be about as perfect a lens as I’ve ever used. In my opinion it beats the 50 APO summicron M in two key areas. I absolutely could not get the SL lens to produce purple colour fringing when shooting high contrast images in bright light but I could do it repeatedly with the M lens. Also the close focus on the SL lens means way better bokeh for some shots if that’s your thing. I wrote a comparison article on my website testing 50lux M, 50Noctilux M, 50 APO M and 50 APO SL.  It’s in the blog section ‘a tale of 4 niftys’. If you’re using an SL or SL2-S I would definitely get the SL version. If you want to use it on an M as well, then you need the M lens. The 50lux is also damn good and the latest incarnation has close focus as well. I tried one of those recently and I prefer it over the APO M.

Sorry for my ignorance: Where do I (we) find your blog...?
