M10-R scratched shutter

Hello, 

I would like to ask for help, camera is almost brand new, used only with one lens from day one. Today I discovered scratch on shutter. 
 

First part of scratch is deeper and have brass color and fade out to silver. 

Can this be a problem? (even in long run)

How much can cost replacement of shutter?

It shouldn't cost anything if it was like that when you bought it - it should be repaired/replaced under warranty. Leica may try to claim that this is user damage, so you may have an argument on your hands😒.

As it is it won’t be a functional problem but the question is what caused it and can it do further damage?  If it is something like a grain of sand it is outside damage and an insurance matter, if it is something like a shard of machined metal it should be guarantee. At any rate have it checked out by Leica.
