Wonderful.  I advise photographers who are shy about asking for photos to approach people who clearly want to be noticed, such as Anna.

I had just left a wonderful exhibition staged by a very talented street artist in a crumbling old warehouse.  Three soloist musicians, great crowd, Italian food, wine and beers.  I left feeling very mellow, boarded a bus and there was Anna.  En route to a gay bar called Halfway to Heaven near Trafalgar Square in Central London, there to sing Karaoke.  If one puts in the mileage wonderful things happen, in this case it came about because I photographed the street artist while she was decorating a wall.

That's actually really good advice! Should be logical, but I never thought this way.

The picture is great. At first, I felt like it was to close up for my taste, but after looking at it for a while, it grew on me. I think I was thrown off by the title a little, because you can't really see the bus. But as a portrait of Anna, it works really well. The closeness adds to the intensity of the picture.

Thank you for your kind comments.  It was a number 26 bus where I met Anna and coincidentally, the street artist whose exhibition I visited is also Anna and I suppose that I just wanted to differentiate the two.
