Could you please tell me what kind of information you have in the EVF  when shouting with it?

I would be doubtful that there will be a successor.  Apart from sensor size, smartphones meet most user's needs.

The D-Lux 7 Instruction Book (LEICA D-LUX 7_EN_2020.pdf) can be downloaded from Leica's website.  All will be revealed on page 40!

The qualities and capabilities of the camera are well illustrated in this thread.  After more than three years of use I remain very satisfied with the D-Lux 7.
