Yes, that's it exactly. Thx hcklr. I'm using a USB C to a USB A cable, as my computer doesn't have a spare USB C jack. As per my workflow, I go into Adobe Lightroom Classic, choose Import, and the Q3's memory card shows up, just as the camera itself was a cardreader. And then I click down past DCIM and find my photos to import. Nice not to have to take the handgrip off every time I want to uplaod some images. I do worry, however, about the wear and tear on that flimsy little plastic door over the Q3's USB jack. Devomote;u a weak link. Seems like bad pratice to be plugging a cable into a precious Leica all the time. So I may continue using a cardreader most of the time. [I would perfer to use the fancy Leica cable, but my computer has only one USB C jack, which is in service running a 1.8 RocketDrive to hold all the freaking raw files. Maybe I'll find a way to split the existing USB C jack on the computer...if that's wise.] Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
