Q3 EVF Resolution. How does it compare to Q2?

Hi,

I'm interested in how folk are finding the higher resolution of the Q3 EVF compared to the Q2.

Is it significantly better? Any negatives?

Hi Corius, 

 

I've tested it head to head in the shop. In direct comparison the EVF on the Q3 is visibly better, but when just trying with a bit time in between the difference is not so big anymore. 

Better? Yes, but not hugely. Much less than the difference between the Q and Q2 - at least in my memory. 

However, I found the display much better on Q2. Much brighter and just nicer to look at.

I’m glad to hear that about the read LCD display. I always felt the Q2 display was pretty awful compared to my Z6. Night and day. I hope the color accuracy is better as well.
