Aaaabsolutely typical 35 cron V1 amazing colors. This is why I think this is the best Leica lens ever made.

There is nothing even close to this masterpiece, not even the AA.

It is an amazing lens .... I love mine :D thank you !

Only own the China 8-elements so I don’t dare to post my images here ;) But I enjoy looking at my China IROOA hooded 8-E on my M10-P. Makes me wanna rock-n-roll on the street all day.

Just post the images without mentioning the lens you used, and no one will be any wiser.

Great photos Graham! You make me miss my 8e. I bought one from a Leica store and it looked to be in fantastic condition, but upon inspecting it, I saw it had fungus etching on the rear element, so returned it.

I’m curious when you get your v1 back how the 8e compares to your v1 lux at f/2. I did a quick comparison with my v2 lux and the 8e and preferred the 8e at f/2 (probably mostly for its warmer rendering and higher vignetting).

As you know, I have a v1 on the way and am hoping/wondering if at f/2 its a little closer to the 8e.
