Oh two of those - what a dream. I grew up with them as an only child, they became my sisters, so to speak. We had a lot of fun.

This is lovely lighting and choice of f-stop for depth of field.  It is drop dead gorgeous. My only gripe is the background with the window light.  A 28mm is a hard one to use for close-up without including some background distractions.  Perhaps a crop of some sort?

Thank you for your comments.  I included the window because I felt it provided a sense of place to what was, in my mind at least, just another bunch of roses. I will give the other images in this group a look with your thoughts in mind. I've had the Q3 a very short time: there is  much to explore.  Thanks again,  John

I got my Q3 on Tuesday! The weather here is mostly dreary at present, and I am still figuring out how to master the new camera. But here is a photo of the Aquarium that was made in Vienna from one of the six flak towers (Flaktürme) that were evaluated as indestructible at the end of the Second World War.

I will try to do better next time!

Best,

David
