Bridalveil Falls in Yosemite a few weeks ago.  Lots of water.  So much mist at the base you could not take a photo as the lens immediately got covered in water drops, so had to limit shots to the distance.

If anybody did say that, you certainly disproved their statement.

Lovely.  It is a geranium of some sort.  Maybe Bigroot geranium, but not sure of what grows in your area.  I like the lighting.  Did you have to crop much?  Does not seem so wide a shot as the 28 would give.

Very nice. Now to really get with the cool kids you need to come back and photograph it at night when the lights are on - and don’t forget a pro mist filter. 😄

Thank you for identifying this for me. I have a book for wildflower identification, but these would not fit that category. It's just cropped a bit on the width as there wasn't much going on there that would add to the image.

Saw this on our morning walk and just had to lie down on the ground and take it.  That is a long ways down and a longer ways back up, but anything for a photo, right?

Also on our morning walk.  I did not have to bend at all for this one. I have been trying square crops on a lot of my photos recently.  Kind of like it.  Brings back memories of my Rollei TLR. It also helped because the shrub on the left was full of dead branches.

Ane one more.  This one made use of the tilt screen as they were slightly over my head.  Macro mode.  It was a productive walk.

Trying something different. Macro, f/8, square crop, Eternal colour profile and the JPEG rather than a processed DNG.

I really like the color of this one.  It reminds me of film.  And the layers of horizontal lines is peaceful even though the clouds look rather threatening. Thanks for sharing.
