cococard Posted May 7, 2023 Share #1 Posted May 7, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello Crew, My Q2 seems to shoot cool when on AWB, once I set up WB with a grey card it brings it back to a more realistic color palate. Does anyone else seem to have this issue? Thanks, JC
Advertisement Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Hi cococard, Take a look here AWB on Q2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
AnikiMu Posted May 9, 2023 Share #2 Posted May 9, 2023 Yes.
Mikep996 Posted May 12, 2023 Share #3 Posted May 12, 2023 Could it be your monitor setting? I've found that with my MacBook Pro it's best to use the "photography" monitor selection rather than the default 'Apple XDR Display 1600 nits' to work with/view photos. I haven't noticed a color issue with the Q2 OR maybe my vision isn't good enough to notice it! 🤔
Le Chef Posted May 12, 2023 Share #4 Posted May 12, 2023 No. I never look at white balance until I have the image in LightRoom and will adjust then if needed.
willi55 Posted May 12, 2023 Share #5 Posted May 12, 2023 For me, the white balance is set to AWB and I correct it by software if necessary. in most cases a correction is not necessary, but I often use color grading, which then also has an influence on the original white balance. My advice is to leave it on AWB and edit it with the image editing software in the posting process.
