Leica Q2 knocking noise

Hello , My Q2 exhibits a low audible knocking noise when I gently move the camera from side to side or up and down.  Does yours do the same ? I would be grateful if you could let me know - Thanks

This should be an FAQ, moderators!

It’s the optical image stabilization system in the camera. Every Q/Q2/Q2M makes that noise and it’s absolutely normal.

You'll only notice it when the power is off.

There should be a sticker on the camera when it’s new alerting the buyer that this sound is normal

And not just Leica…many IS lenses do it.

We get regular calls from customers who are wondering if their lens is bad…but the manufacturers just seem to feel that everybody is aware of this…many aren’t.

How much would it cost to add one line in the manual pointing it out?

That only comes with the Bill Haley special edition.
