Rollsman4,   There are a couple ways to see reviews of the various SL lenses.  You can Google the lens you are interested in by trying this example type search:  Leica SL 50mm f/2 Summicron reviews   You can do the same on the forum where people who have posted various opinions on the various lenses.  If you want to look at images created by the various SL lenses, try this link below.  Last, the SL lenses draw differently than S lenses.  Whereas the S lenses render in a more cinimatic way vs the SL lenses have a plastic albeit "realistic" look.  For me the differences are quite stark. I recently decided to go with all M lenses for my SL2 as the realism rendering was IMO, too stark i.e. realistic and detailed.  Also when I had my business, my clients demanded only the use of the S camera and S lenses all due to the cinematic rendering.  Jono Slack at his website posted reviews on the different SL lenses. Just like the Leica M lenses, these too render differently.   Last, IMO nothing in MF beats the rendering of the S camera and certainly the S lenses.  You will discover this when you sell/trade your S system and go to the SL system.  You have choices.  r/ Mark

I disagree about the SL lenses having a "plastic albeit 'realistic' look." Go to the LFI gallery and compare S, SL, M, and Q photos with all kinds of different lenses.
