Harpomatic Posted April 23, 2023 Share #1  Posted April 23, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello everyone,  I am shooting events professionally (wedding and others) and have switched from Sony A9s to the SL2-S. I have used on camera bounce flash and off camera flash with the Sony with no issues at all, shooting quickly 2-3 frames or even more in fast evolving situations. It always delivered with no hesitation. Enter the SL2-S: I got myself a Godox XproII L and a Leica SF60 kit to use with my existing Godox off camera kit and to have an on camera flash with TTL. I need help with this: using either the transmitter (which is designed for Leica) and the Leica SF60 I can’t shoot more that a frame per second, no matter the flash power (even at 1/128). No way to shoot faster, it just won’t shoot. 1st or 2nd curtain makes no difference. A or M mode, no difference. I have tried another SF60, the SF64, The SF40 as well, always the same story. I put a generic flash on, centre pin activation only, I can shoot as fast as I like with the flash. What is going on? I Leica limiting the shooting speed on purpose? Is there a way to circumvent this? Thanks for your help!

FrankX Posted April 23, 2023 Share #2 Â Posted April 23, 2023 That's really surprising. I hope someone here can solve this problem. I am currently thinking about the same flash setup (coming from Fuji). Thus I would appreciate any comments.
Harpomatic Posted April 24, 2023 Author Share #3 Â Posted April 24, 2023 @FrankXÂ this is really helpful in another thread. I am going to talk to Leica directly and see what the problem is!
