PLEASE can someone help me! I’ve just purchased an SL2-S, with a bunch of Sigma DG lenses. This is to compliment my M10-D, which I’ve been using professionally (and flawless) with the Fotos app for years. I basically give my client the iPad, and it’s like defacto WiFi tethering. BUT the SL2-S is not working like this at all!!

I can get the camera to connect, but when I hit the shutter, no pictures are displaying whatsoever.

I have downloaded and installed FW5.1 on the camera; I have tried deleting the connection and resetting the camera; I have tried removing the app and reinstalling; I have tried disconnecting all other Bluetooth devices.

PLEASE HELP! I absolutely love this camera - feels like the perfect complement to my M10D, and I fully expected it to work exactly the same! Am I missing something? Is it to do with the Bluetooth on the SL2S vs the WiFi on the M10D?

Sadly if I can’t get this to work I’ll have to send it back 🫠😖

It should work - they should be displayed in LR mobile.

The only way pictures display in the app, is if I engage the live view remote first (without actually taking a picture through it) and then clicking the X to close it - only then, it displays any pictures taken on the card. But not until. I’m just wondering if anyone else has an SL2S or an SL, who also have the same problem?

The FOTOS app is limited, if you are interested in a tether connection I would suggest trying the Capture One for Ipad, you can use a USB cable to connect and tether and edit color in super fast speed.
