First time i've tried it this way, seems to give better results. Just wondered what everybodys prefs were when scanning colour negs. Thanks for looking. If blue pavement was the goal, then this is a successful scan, but it color accuracy was the objective then it's a bit off. With my original comment I was assuming the photographer wanted color accuracy since he said " Just a snap" But yes from a artistic point the colors are quit good. If you look just beyond the man there is a dry patch which looks about right. My original scan of the colour neg was dreadful hence the reason scanning this as a transparency.
