I’m taking a 500-ish mile a day trip for 3 days from LA to Yosemite then we are going to wing it.   I am taking a tailbag on my Aprilia Factory, looking to keep it pretty minimal.   I wanted to get some shots while riding but not sure how I feel riding with a camera slung around me.   Also considering keeping the Q2 in a Wandrd sling bag.   I have a Sony A7RV setup where I could bring either my 35mm 1.4 or 24mm 1.4 with an 85mm second lens.

I’m on a motorbike trip at the moment. I use one of the flexible cases, originally sold for the M’s and put it in the tank bag. If I take the SL it just goes in one of the panniers along with my cloths. Been doing this for years and never had a problem.

Am riding with the S system, or a CL outfit. Short distances, I sometimes use an Ona bag slung over. Longer distances, the camera is always stowed away in the paniers. I prefer the smaller, less traveled roads around California, places where I can stop, dismount anywhere I like, and take my time with the framing and composition. LA to Yosemite and beyond, there are some very nice roads out there I'm sure. Definitely not 99 with all its tired truck drivers and agricultural machinery, though. Ride safe,

I carry my M in the tank bag - I use a quick-lock tank bag from SW Motech on all my bikes - same bag, just transfer it to whichever bike I'm riding.  Camera is handy there, no futzing around trying to get it out.  Never use a cover or anything just put a small towel under it. Been doing that for many years.
