If there are only two prototype lenses, then I guess these lenses did not get much use in the Navyย ๐. I am not aware of any serial production of this lens, be it for the Navy or whoever else. I suspect that, just like the Elcan f2/50mm lens designed for the Navy, this would have been a "cheaper" alternative to the existing f2/35mm Summicron lens, resulting in somewhat inferior (but still acceptable) imaging characteristics. Perhaps the Navy then never ordered a 35mm lens, which is why only two prototype lenses have remained. So these are true collector items (I would not pay anything near the estimated 80 - 100.000 โฌ price for such a lens, but each to his own).
