sandymc Posted November 7, 2007 Share #1 Posted November 7, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) For those that like hand-coding, a quick look inside the V1.110 firmware indicates that the codes for the new Summarits appear to be: Summarit 35mm f/2.5 43 101011 Summarit 50mm f/2.5 44 101100 Summarit 75mm f/2.5 45 101101 Summarit 90mm f/2.5 46 101110 So they follow on directly after the Tri-Elmar Sandy
Advertisement Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Hi sandymc, Take a look here 6-bit Codes for the new Summarits. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
sean_reid Posted November 7, 2007 Share #2 Posted November 7, 2007 Thanks very much Sandy. These should be especially useful to DIYers with CV35/2.5s and CV 75/2.5s (assuming they bother to code the latter). Carsten, did you see this? Cheers, Sean
carstenw Posted November 7, 2007 Share #3 Posted November 7, 2007 Yes, thanks, updated. I am missing some info though: order numbers (cannot see them anywhere?) and images of the codes, of course.
scott kirkpatrick Posted November 7, 2007 Share #4 Posted November 7, 2007 Yes, thanks, updated. I am missing some info though: order numbers (cannot see them anywhere?) and images of the codes, of course. Carsten, here are the order numbers, and a screen shot of 1.110 in my hex editor, trimmed to the lines that describe the MATE and the new Summarits. I locate it by finding the string "uncoded" which goes with code "000000" and then scrolling down a few lines. The order numbers are 11634, 11644, 11645, and 11646. Pictures of the actual codes could come from Tony Rose or from Sean Reid, whoever gets his hands on them first.... scott
sandymc Posted November 7, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted November 7, 2007 Interesting. According to the Summarit-M Familiy brochure, the order numbers are 11643, 11644, 11645 and 11646 respectively. I think someone made a bit of a mistake in the table for the 35mm in the firmware. Can't help with the images I'm afraid.... Sandy
