Does the Leica Ocular to R Adapter 14324 fit a Televid 77 spotting scope?

There is one of these 14324 adapters for sale at a UK auction at the moment. Will it fit on a Televid 77 scope? At the moment I have using an SRB Griturn digiscoping Televid 77 to Micro 4/3 but have been unable to get sharp images from it using an Olympus EP-5 digital camera (with no lens on the camera just the SRB adapter, which mounts direct). If the 14324 adapter fits my Televid 77, then I can use an R to M adapter and one of my M digital cameras.

Wilson, The 14234 Telecope ocular to R adapter has a female R bayonet mount to fit any Leica R lens so will not fit your Televid 77 'scope . The 14234 has dioptric compensation of + / - 3 diopters. The 14234 is Illustrated on page 327 of Laney's Leica Collector's Guide 2nd Edition.  Add the Viso 14167 'R adapter' for use on Visoflex lenses. 

As per Laney Edition 2, page 584, there is also a seven-lens Televid Photo Adapter 42300 which converts the Televid 77 into an 800mm f10.4 lens – for use with a T2 adapter enabling use of any ICL camera.

Also a Televid Photo Adapter  42301  which converts the Televid 77 into a 1000mm f12.9 lens – for use with a T2 adapter enabling use of any ICL camera.

The Leica / Leitz T2 adapter 42305 is for the Leica R camera .  

Your EP5 would presumably require a m4/3 T2 adapter for use with the 42300 and 42301 adapters; neither adapter is actually illustrated in Laney

Many thanks Dunk. I have ordered a 42300 and a 42305 from Yorkshire Cameras. The only 42301 I could find was in Jakarta, Indonesia and they wanted over £500 for it - that's going to sell in a hurry!

As the Televid 77 is down at my French house, I don't need them at the moment, as subject my treatments being completed, I am not going to be there until the beginning of July. I may bring the Televid back to the UK with me in the autumn and at some point pay a visit to SRB Griturn and see if they can get their MFT adapter to focus, as I can't. SRB suggested that it might be as my ocular is a zoom one (20-60), that only results in a virtual image, which will not focus but that seems unlikely to me.

My 42300 Televid and 42305 T2 to R adapters arrived this morning. Like many of the less common Leica adapters, these would appear to have seen next to no use and are like new. One question: At the T2 thread end of the 42300 Televid adapter, there is a small satin chromed, knurled locking screw. When I loosen it, nothing appears to be released. What is it for? Does the T2 threaded collar remove to allow other collars to be mounted there but Leica never got round to making them? T2 seems an odd choice of camera mount but I suppose it was to allow for cine to be taken using a Televid as an 800mm lens (2,728mm EFOV on 16mm film). Given that Leica's own final model of movie camera, the Super 8 Leicina Special (I have two of them, one with a jammed Maltese cross) is M mount, the choice of T2 seems even more illogical.

My guess would be that this screw allows, when unlocked and with the Televid mounted on a tripod, to easily change the camera's position from landscape to portrait mode.

Well either the end T2 collar is stuck, which may well be the case or it is for something else.
