Panasonic in particular have smothered their L mount bodies in buttons and joysticks. Honestly the beauty of Leica for me is the simplicity, having owned several M's, an SL, a CL and a Q. It will be interesting to see whether Leica convert all future models to this layout, namely M12 and SL3/3-S. If they do, presumably they include the flippy-flappy screen as well, though hopefully Leica implement that with a screen that can be rotated to take portrait format shots.
